Collaborative Child Specialist
As a Collaborative Child Specialist in divorce and paternity cases, I assist families in resolving child custody and visitation issues, with my main focus being on the child’s best interests. Mediation of child custody disputes has three major advantages for parents. First, mediation is private and confidential. Second, parents have significantly more control over the outcome in mediation than they have in the litigation process. Third, resolving disputes through mediation significantly reduces both the emotional and economic costs of the process.
In addition, the mediation process affords all members of the family an opportunity to express their feelings in a therapeutic environment. As a Collaborative Child Specialist, I can help you and your child to minimize the emotional consequences that often follow custody disputes.
A child custody mediation can take place at any time during the divorce process, however, the damaging effects of continued litigation can be minimized if the mediation is conducted early.

Collaborative Divorce Coach
Collaborative divorce has many advantages for couples compared to an ordinary litigated divorce. Mediation provides couples with a private and confidential setting for their divorce away from the public eye. It also provides each party with significantly more control over the outcome of the divorce. Importantly, mediation also allows parties to control the high monetary and emotional costs normally associated with litigated divorce.
As a Collaborative Divorce Coach, I provide a source of education, emotional support, and guidance through the divorce process. I facilitate communication between the spouses, and other collaborative divorce team members, which reduces conflicts and misunderstandings. I also assist in identifying and prioritizing concerns regarding the divorce, in addition in developing short and long term goals. In addition, I facilitate problem-solving in an effort to expedite the divorce process and ensure that it meets your specific needs. Finally, during the process, I can also refer you to community and other resources for additional services as needed.
